Rosé Becomes First K-Pop Artist With 25 Weeks on Billboard Radio Songs Chart

Rosé of BLACKPINK has reached a major milestone in U.S. radio history.

On May 13 (local time), Billboard announced that “APT.” — her collaboration with Bruno Mars — remained strong at No. 18 on the Radio Songs chart. This chart measures the most-played songs across all genres on U.S. radio stations each week.

With this achievement, Rosé became the first K-pop artist to have a song chart for 25 weeks on the Radio Songs chart. Before this, BTS held the record with “Dynamite,” which stayed on the chart for 19 weeks in 2020.

“APT.” also broke another record. It became the longest-charting song by a female K-pop artist on Billboard’s Hot 100. It held the No. 20 spot in its 29th straight week on the chart.

Rosé also continued her success on Billboard’s Artist 100 chart. She remained at No. 84, marking her 30th week overall — the most for any female K-pop soloist.

The song “APT.” also performed strongly on global charts. It ranked No. 3 on both the Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts. It stayed at No. 15 on the Digital Song Sales chart and rose to No. 22 on the Streaming Songs chart.

In addition, Rosé’s solo album rosie continued to chart on the Billboard 200. It placed at No. 145 this week, extending its record as the longest-charting album by a female K-pop soloist with 22 consecutive weeks.
