After a nine-year hiatus, the Urban Country Music Festival is making its highly anticipated return to Caboolture, Queensland, this October. The event, which will take place on Saturday, October 4, at the Caboolture Showgrounds, is expected to make a powerful comeback, with organizers promising an exciting celebration of country music.
Hosted by 121 Networks Ltd, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting women over 55 facing homelessness, the festival will feature performances, the Stardust Talent Quest showcasing Australian country acts, and a variety of local attractions, including food, beer, and ute events.
Locals will get an early taste of the action at a free launch event on Sunday, February 9, which will feature live performances and reveal the full lineup. Tickets will also go on sale that day at the Caboolture Country Markets, with no bookings required for entry to the launch.
In addition to reviving a beloved cultural event, all proceeds from the festival will benefit the Angelus Community, an organization providing safe housing solutions in the Moreton Bay City region.
Eric Whitehouse of Gold Property Group expressed excitement about the festival’s return, stating, “The Urban Country Music Festival will be a great opportunity for this region, and we are excited to announce the event, including the lineup, on Sunday, February 9.”
