Country music legend Kenny Chesney is set to make history as the first country artist to perform at Las Vegas’ iconic Sphere. The 56-year-old singer announced a 12-show residency starting in May, marking a groundbreaking moment for both the venue and country music fans.
Chesney expressed his excitement, saying, “I’m always looking for ways to deepen the way No Shoes Nation experiences this music.” The residency is designed to create an immersive experience for fans, drawing from the passion they’ve shown for his songs over the years.
Having already witnessed U2’s Sphere performance, Chesney shared his anticipation, noting, “Once you see how the show wraps all the way around you, the dreaming begins.”
The Sphere, which holds 17,600 attendees, will host Chesney’s residency from May 22 through June 14. The residency follows his successful 2024 Sun Goes Down Tour, which concluded with three sold-out nights at Gillette Stadium, where he performed for over 180,000 fans.
