NASHVILLE, Tenn., May 28, 2025 /PRNewswire/ — Gebbia Media, a subsidiary of Siebert Financial Corp. (Nasdaq: SIEB), has acquired Big Machine Rock. Big Machine Rock is the rock-focused label of Big Machine Label Group. It has been influential in shaping the future of modern rock music. This acquisition marks a new chapter in Gebbia Media’s rapid growth in the music and media industries. The company aims to create an artist-first platform that combines creative storytelling with strategic investments. Big Machine Rock’s current artists include Daughtry, Badflower, Sammy Hagar, Olive Vox, and Ryan Perdz.

David Gebbia, CEO of Gebbia Media, said, “Growing up listening to legendary artists like Led Zeppelin, Van Halen, and The Doors, I understand how important it is to bring rock music to a new generation of fans. Big Machine Rock fits perfectly with our vision. It is bold, appeals across generations, and connects deeply with culture. This acquisition helps us support artists by investing in strong catalogs and expanding their reach across platforms.”

Heather Luke-Husong, General Manager of Big Machine Rock, leads an all-female team. Under her leadership, the label has achieved multiple No. 1 singles and Platinum records in just a few years. This has made the label one of the most exciting independent rock labels today.

Big Machine Rock is home to diverse artists who mix rock with other genres like country, alternative, and metal. The label is praised for its innovative approach and loyal artist community. Under Gebbia Media, Big Machine Rock will focus on artist development, immersive storytelling, and increasing visibility across different platforms. They aim to reach fans in live shows, online, and in cultural spaces.

John J Gebbia, CEO of Siebert Financial, said, “This acquisition shows Siebert’s commitment to innovation at the crossroads of finance and culture. Adding Big Machine Rock to Gebbia Media’s portfolio brings talented artists together with the stability and resources of a diversified financial company. This will support long-term growth and cultural influence.”

This move follows Siebert’s recent partnerships with GAMMA and L.A. Reid LLC for the group SIMIEN. It also builds on Gebbia Media’s growing collaboration with artist and entrepreneur Akon.

Scott Borchetta, founder of Big Machine Label Group, will continue managing operations. He will also join Siebert Financial’s advisory board. Borchetta’s experience includes working with top artists like Riley Green, Thomas Rhett, Reba McEntire, Mötley Crüe, Garth Brooks, Dolly Parton, Carly Pearce, Taylor Swift, Sheryl Crow, and Florida Georgia Line. His involvement adds strong strategic expertise to Siebert’s expansion in media and entertainment.

Artists signed to Big Machine Rock will remain with the label. They will gain access to more resources, better promotion, and global reach.
