Wasserman Music is expanding its hip-hop and R&B division worldwide by hiring two new executives. These hires strengthen its global festivals and artist representation teams.
Jazmyn Griffin has joined the New York-based global festivals team as a director. She will focus on hip-hop and R&B festivals and concerts. Griffin will also support the department’s new marketing efforts. Before this, she worked in festival promotion and talent buying at C3 Presents and Live Nation. She helped grow hip-hop and contemporary music events across the US.
Adam Brill, Wasserman Music’s senior vice president of global festivals, said, “We’re thrilled to welcome Jazmyn during a time of big growth for our division and the global festivals market. Her experience across the business makes her ideal to help us expand in the hip-hop and R&B festival scene and beyond.”
In addition, Tessie Lammle has been hired as a Los Angeles-based director and agent. She will focus on hip-hop and R&B artists. Lammle is an IQ New Bosses 2021 alumnus and spent nearly ten years at UTA. There, she booked for a mix of emerging and established artists. She also helped create UTA’s La Femme Majeure event series and worked on programs to support future female leaders.
James Rubin, Wasserman Music’s executive vice president and managing executive, said, “Tessie is talented and hardworking. Her passion for music and creative strategies to help artists succeed shines through. We’re excited to have her on board to boost growth in our hip-hop and R&B division. But her skills go beyond that, and we look forward to seeing her grow with the company.”
