The Grammy-nominated rock band Skillet will be performing at the Delaware County Fair this year. The group is scheduled to take the stage at 8:30 p.m. on July 10, according to an official online announcement.
Skillet has achieved great success on the charts, with eight songs reaching the Top 10 on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock Airplay chart. Their hit “Feel Invincible” even reached the No. 1 spot in 2016. Other popular songs include “Awake and Alive” and “Monster.”
Skillet will perform in place of Daughtry, who was originally booked for the July 10 show. Daughtry had to step away to join an upcoming tour with the rock band Creed.
Fans who bought tickets for Daughtry’s concert should check their email for details on how to transfer or get refunds, the announcement said.
