Rising Nigerian rapper Odigbo Chinecherem Valentine, known as Vallyboybundles, is making a name for himself in the rap and trap music scene. Hailing from Anambra and raised in Lagos, his musical journey began at Command Secondary School in Ipaja. He later honed his craft at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), where he developed his distinctive sound.
In a recent interview, Vallyboybundles shared that his love for music and the support from those around him pushed him to pursue a career in the industry. He emphasized the importance of solitude and the quiet of early mornings in his creative process.
Despite facing challenges in an industry where trust can be hard to come by, Vallyboybundles has collaborated with several artists. He described these experiences as “amazing” and expressed a desire to work with more artists in the future. He cites Nigerian stars such as Erigga, Phyno, Olamide, Psycho YP, and Alpha Ogini as key influences on his music.
When asked about his best project, Vallyboybundles pointed to “Black Skin Miles,” calling it a relatable and impactful work. He teased fans with promises of more music, vowing to “rescore life lyrically” in future projects.
