German black metal band Dark Fortress has dropped a new live music video for their track “The Silver Gate,” offering a taste of their upcoming live album Anthems From Beyond The Grave – Live In 2023. Set for release later this month via Century Media Records, the album captures the band’s powerful live performances from shows in Rotterdam and Bochum.
Guitarist V. Santura reflected on the making of the live album, expressing his surprise at its quality. “I never thought Dark Fortress would have a live album,” he said. “When I finally listened to the recordings, I was blown away—we sounded incredible. All our hard work had paid off. When Century Media heard it, they knew it was too good not to release.” With this album, the band marks a fitting potential end to their storied career.
