Davis’ single “Step by Step” soared to No. 1 on the iTunes Country Singles chart and reached No. 4 on the Billboard charts. His newest single, “I Am,” co-written with Frank Romano and BSAMZ (Brandon Sammons), further cements his place in the spotlight. The song was inspired by Davis’ wife, Destiny, who struggled with self-doubt and the question of worthiness. “It was incredible to watch somebody show such resilience and strength,” Davis said. “This song came from her showing me what people needed to hear.”
