Dallas’ 95.3 KHYI radio station is continuing its tradition of shaking up the country music scene with the upcoming 29th annual Texas Music Revolution. Known for resisting the mainstream pop country trend, KHYI has been championing Texas music, bluegrass, and an eclectic mix of genres for years. This year’s celebration, set for June 6th and 7th, promises to be another dynamic event featuring an impressive mix of both local talent and nationally recognized artists.
The festival will be hosted in the heart of historic downtown McKinney, Texas, just 30 miles north of Dallas. Over the course of two days, attendees will be treated to live performances on three stages by a stellar lineup, including Texas favorites Flatland Cavalry, Silverada, The Wilder Blue, and Bri Bagwell. Other standout acts include Dawes, John Baumann, Lola Kirk, Jamie Richards, and Taylor Hunnicutt, among many others.
While not technically a festival, the Texas Music Revolution offers music lovers a chance to experience a true revolution in sound, featuring some of the best in the Texas music scene and beyond. For more information and tickets, visit the official event page.
