Kansas City Chiefs player, Travis Kelce, has officially confirmed that he will be skipping the Grammys alongside Taylor Swift due to his Super Bowl preparations. Despite expressing his desire to support Swift and witness her potential victories at the prestigious awards, Kelce emphasized his commitment to practice on The Pat McAfee Show.

“I wish I could go support Taylor at the Grammys and watch her win every single award that she’s nominated for, but I think I got practice on Sunday. Unfortunately, I gotta get ready for this big ol’ Super Bowl we got in a week,” Kelce stated.

The Grammys, scheduled for February 4, precede the Chiefs’ Super Bowl showdown against the San Francisco 49ers. Whether Taylor Swift will attend the Grammys solo or with a friend remains unknown.

The 34-year-old artist is nominated for six awards, spanning categories such as Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop Solo Performance, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, and Best Pop Vocal Album. As she gears up for her Tokyo performance on February 10, speculations arise about her potential return to the US to support Kelce in the Super Bowl on February 11.
