Taylor Swift is Spotify’s most-streamed global artist of the year, the streaming platform revealed today.

The pop star has secured the top spot in the most-streamed global artist category, the streaming platform announced in its 2023 Wrapped campaign.

The anti-hero hitmaker has surpassed 26.1 billion streams worldwide since the beginning of the year.

“Um ok this is unreal? I just wanted to say to everyone who has listened to my music this year, anywhere in the world, thank you,” Taylor wrote on Instagram on Wednesday. “Being named Spotify’s Global Top Artist in 2023 is truly the best birthday/holiday gift you could have given me.”

To thank her fans for their continued support, Taylor has released her track You’re Losing Me (From The Vault) on all streaming platforms, including Spotify.

“We have seriously had THE MOST FUN this year on tour and now this. Are you serious?” continued Taylor. “So I’ve been trying to think of a way to say thank you, and a lot of you have been asking me to put You’re Losing Me (From The Vault) on streaming… so here you go! You can finally listen to it EVERYWHERE.”

You’re Losing Me was released as a CD exclusive on a special edition of their 2022 album Midnights.

Taylor, who has held the title of most-streamed global artist on Spotify for the past three years, knocked Bad Bunny off his throne. The Puerto Rican rapper is now the second most streamed global artist, followed by The Weeknd and Drake.

Miley Cyrus’ hit Flowers was the most streamed song of the year with 1.6 billion streams.

Following Flowers were Kill Bill from SZA and As It Was from Harry Styles. Meanwhile, Bad Bunny’s Un Verano Sin Ti was named the most streamed album on Spotify, ahead of Taylor’s Midnights and SZA’s SOS.
