The Collegium Musicum Costa del Sol, an amateur choir and orchestra, has announced two special performances to celebrate its 50th anniversary of bringing classical music to audiences along the Costa del Sol. The concerts will take place at the IPV Palace & Spa Hotel in Fuengirola on Sunday, May 25 at 8 p.m., and at the Iglesia de la Encarnación in Marbella on Tuesday, May 27 at 9 p.m.
The anniversary performances will feature Mozart’s C minor Mass and Symphony No. 40, with guest soloists from Malaga, Italy, and Scotland joining the ensemble.
Tickets for the Fuengirola concert are priced at 12 euros, with free entry for children under 16. Tickets can be purchased at the IPV Palace Hotel, Lepanto Café in Fuengirola, or at the door on the night of the performance.
The Marbella concert, supporting the Cáritas Encarnación charity, is free to attend, but donations are encouraged to aid the charity’s efforts.
Founded in 1975, Collegium Musicum is the oldest amateur orchestra and choir on the Costa del Sol, bringing classical and historic music to enthusiasts in the region.
