ComplexCon is returning to Hong Kong for its second year, bringing three days of streetwear, hip-hop, and contemporary art to the city from March 21 to 23. Since its inception in Los Angeles in 2016, ComplexCon has become the go-to event for celebrating and analyzing hip-hop and street culture, with past editions featuring A-list performers like Travis Scott, A$AP Rocky, and 21 Savage.
For 2025, the event will take place at the AsiaWorld-Expo, and it promises an exciting lineup of talent, including seven-time Grammy-nominated producer Metro Boomin, who will be making his Hong Kong debut. Joining him on stage will be Quavo, the former Migos frontman, and Zico, the K-hip-hop sensation known for his recent collaboration with Blackpink’s Jennie. The festival will also showcase performances from Hong Kong’s own MC Jin, Jace, and rising international stars like Changmo and B.I.
In addition to the music, ComplexCon Hong Kong will feature a curated marketplace of over 100 influential brands and creators, including exclusive merchandise drops and collaborations. The festival’s artistic direction is led by renowned American visual artist Daniel Arsham, who has rebranded the event as ComplexCon 3025, a tribute to his signature “future relics” aesthetic.
Last year’s ComplexCon Hong Kong attracted over 30,000 visitors from more than 40 nationalities, a success that highlights the city’s deep connection to pop culture. “Hong Kong was the obvious choice for us because the city has pop culture in its roots,” said Bonnie Chan Woo, founder of Complex China.
ComplexCon Hong Kong runs from March 21-23 at the AsiaWorld-Expo, with tickets starting at HK$388.
