Warren Zeiders has unveiled the music video for his latest single, “You for a Reason,” capturing the bittersweet nature of a short-lived romance. In the video, Zeiders portrays a heartbroken protagonist reflecting on his past relationship, ultimately coming to terms with its fleeting nature.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Zeiders explained the song’s message, saying, “This video and song are about someone who might’ve only lasted for a season, but it was for a reason. We often don’t understand why something doesn’t work out in the moment, but with time, it all makes sense. We realize those experiences shape us into who we’re meant to be.”
He added, “What feels like hurt in the moment turns into perspective,” and expressed his hope that fans would connect with the video as deeply as he does.
“You for a Reason” is part of Zeiders’ upcoming double album Relapse, Lies & Betrayal, set for release on March 14. The album will also feature his current single, “Relapse.”
Zeiders will be hitting the road for his Relapse Tour, which kicks off on March 27 in Nashville.
