Tesla is proud to announce the upcoming release of a limited edition double LP titled “Real to Reel Vol I,” set to debut on Record Store Day this Saturday, April 20, 2024.

Originally launched on June 5, 2007, “Real to Reel Vol I” is a tribute to classic rock tunes from the late 1960s and early 1970s. The album showcases Tesla’s unique interpretation of these iconic tracks, recorded using analog tape and vintage equipment to preserve the raw, authentic sound of that era. Recorded live in the studio without pro tools or an automated mixing console, the album reflects the band’s exceptional talent and dedication.

Despite the challenges, Tesla managed to record an impressive 25 songs in just 30 days, working tirelessly from 10 am to midnight with minimal breaks for dinner. This groundbreaking record marked the debut of Tesla Electric Company Recordings and is now being reissued in a limited run of 1500 copies, featuring striking clear red vinyl for a visually captivating experience.

“Real to Reel Vol I” promises to be a coveted collector’s item, offering fans a rare chance to own a piece of Tesla’s musical history in a format cherished by music enthusiasts worldwide. Don’t miss the opportunity to secure your copy on April 20, 2024, and immerse yourself in this iconic release.
