Mel B, also known as Scary Spice, has officially confirmed that the Spice Girls will reunite later this year to commemorate the group’s 30th anniversary. During an appearance on Loose Women, Mel enthusiastically shared the news, affirming fans’ hopes for a reunion.

Co-host Christine Lampard expressed the sentiments of many fans, emphasizing the need for the Spice Girls’ uplifting presence once again. Mel responded with excitement, confirming, “Oh no, we are definitely doing something,” despite the risk of facing repercussions for her announcement.

While Mel refrained from disclosing further details, she hinted at an impending announcement later in the year. Her revelation comes on the heels of the Spice Girls being honored with limited-edition stamps by Royal Mail in the U.K. to mark their milestone anniversary.

This confirmation follows Mel’s tease on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, where she hinted at forthcoming news involving all five members of the iconic girl group.

The Spice Girls, consisting of Mel B, Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, and Mel C, last reunited for a tour in 2019, albeit without Victoria Beckham. The group originally formed in 1994 and officially disbanded in February 2001 to pursue individual projects.
