SZA, the acclaimed artist who has garnered the most Grammy Award nominations this year, is set to take the stage at the 2024 Grammy Awards. The announcement was made on Monday, revealing that the singer, known for hits like “Snooze,” will deliver a live performance during the awards ceremony in Los Angeles on Sunday.

With an impressive total of nine nominations, SZA is a standout nominee. Her chart-topping track “Kill Bill” has earned nods in categories such as Record of the Year and Song of the Year. Additionally, her sophomore album, “SOS,” has secured a nomination for Album of the Year.

SZA’s diverse nominations extend to Best R&B Song for “Snooze,” Best Traditional R&B Performance for “Love Language,” and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for her collaboration with Phoebe Bridgers on “Ghost in the Machine.”

The artist, whose real name is Solána Imani Rowe, has experienced previous Grammy recognition but faced disappointment in 2018 when she was nominated for five awards related to her debut album “Ctrl” and did not secure a win. However, in 2022, she achieved Grammy success with a win for her collaboration with Doja Cat on “Kiss Me More.”

In addition to SZA, the star-studded lineup of performers at the 2024 Grammy Awards includes Olivia Rodrigo, Billy Joel, Dua Lipa, Billie Eilish, Luke Combs, Burna Boy, Travis Scott, U2, and Joni Mitchell, making her Grammy performance debut.

Trevor Noah, a two-time Grammy nominee, is set to host the ceremony for the fourth consecutive year. The highly anticipated event will be broadcast on February 4 on CBS, originating from the Crypto Arena in Los Angeles.
