PJ Harvey will be headlining an enormous open-air festival in Gunnersbury Park next summer.
The two-time Mercury Prize winner, 54, has announced her only summer gig of 2024. The show will take place in London on Sunday, August 18, 2024.
Harvey – who released her Top 5 album ‘I Inside the Old Year Dying’ in July – will join Big Thief, Tirzah and Shida Shahabi, who she has chosen to support her, and has promised to give the audience “an emotional, empowering and uplifting experience”.
She said: “I am grateful to Gunnersbury Park for inviting me to curate this event. I have selected what I believe to be some of the most exciting artists working today. With them I hope to create an emotional, uplifting and uplifting experience for the audience.
Shahabi said: “I am really looking forward to supporting the inspiring and brilliant PJ Harvey, along with other really lovely acts, at Gunnersbury Park in London next August, where we will be performing music from my latest album ‘Living Circle’.
