Kendrick Lamar has set a new record with his song “Not Like Us.”
According to Chartdata, the diss track has stayed on the Billboard Hot 100 for 53 consecutive weeks. This makes it the longest-charting rap song in history. Currently, “Not Like Us” is ranked No. 23 on the Hot 100 chart.
This is not the first record the song has broken. It surpassed Drake and Lil Baby’s “Girls Like Girls” to become the hip-hop track with the most single-day streams on Spotify. It also became the fastest rap song ever to reach 300 million streams on the platform.
“Not Like Us” was released in May 2024 as a diss track aimed at Drake. It was Kendrick Lamar’s third song released in less than 48 hours during their rap feud. In the track, Lamar accuses Drake of having a preference for underage girls and calls him a culture vulture.
The song debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and won several GRAMMY Awards, including Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Rap Performance, Best Rap Song, and Best Music Video.
