The Singapore Tourism Board (STB) recently teamed up with BigHit Music to create the official music video for “Don’t Say You Love Me,” the lead song from K-pop star BTS Jin’s second solo album, Echo.
The video was filmed in various locations across Singapore. It highlights the city’s famous landmarks and diverse scenery, introducing international viewers to Singapore’s unique charm through music and visuals.
Some of the featured spots include the National Gallery Singapore, Gardens by the Bay, Singapore Flyer, Marina Bay, and Anderson Bridge. The video also showcases Goldhill Plaza in Novena and Keng Eng Kee Seafood, a family-run restaurant listed by Michelin and known for its zi char dishes. Emerald Hill, famous for its Peranakan shophouses, is another highlight. This mix of places represents Singapore’s blend of historic and modern elements.
Serene Tan, STB’s executive director for North Asia, said, “This project gave us a great chance to show Singapore’s culture, nature, and architecture alongside Jin’s music. We hope viewers worldwide will see Singapore in a fresh and inspiring way through the video.”
A representative from BigHit Music added, “Working with the Singapore Tourism Board allowed us to combine the beauty of local sights with the story Jin wants to tell through his music. We hope many people will enjoy Jin’s new album and the music video.”
The official music video for “Don’t Say You Love Me” was released worldwide on May 16 via Hybe Labels’ YouTube channel. It was also shared on the Singapore Tourism Board’s social media platforms.
