BashfortheWorld Announces Summer Tour, Dallas Show Included

by Patria

Dallas native BashfortheWorld is set to return to his hometown for a major performance as part of his upcoming Migo in America Tour, which spans 30 cities. The tour will close on Saturday, August 23, with a show at The Bomb Factory in Dallas.

Bash, a Mexican-American rapper known for vivid storytelling in songs like “Aztec Baby,” “Third World,” and “Darkest Before Dawn,” has built a strong following. He remains independent and has already sold out Southside Ballroom twice. In 2024, he was recognized as Best Rapper and ranked among the top artists of the year.

His last Dallas performance was on May 31, 2024, at Southside Ballroom. The energy was electric. Fans packed the venue, phones in hand, rapping along to hits like “Face Card,” “Vida,” and “50-0.” Bash even performed unreleased tracks. “I saved home for last. I’m sleeping in my bed tonight!” he told the crowd.

Throughout 2024, Bash released several singles, including “Migo,” “On the Map,” and “Bout It Bout It” featuring Roadrun Cmoe. He promoted these songs with viral performances on YouTube through popular platforms like On the Radar and 4 Shooters Only. He also released the video for “Crib in the Sky,” a song about rising from poverty to success. Directed by Bladi, the video features scenes of the Dallas skyline and Reunion Tower.

Bash also gave back to the community. Last summer, he partnered with Adidas and Jarritos for a Back-to-School Drive at Stevie Ray Vaughan Park in the Cockrell Hill area of Oak Cliff. They handed out clothing to local children.

These efforts helped Bash stay connected with fans and built momentum for his latest album, Migo in America, released on May 5. The upcoming tour will be the first opportunity for fans to hear the album live.

The album includes samples and interpolations of songs by Kanye West and Gorilla Zoe, along with guest features from several Texas artists. SSG Splurge from Arlington appears on “Death B4 Dishonor” and “Wolfpack.” Dallas rapper Oodaredevil, who grew up inspired by Bun B and Pimp C, features on “Problems & Answers” and “Tequila & Champagne.”

On the track “Cash Race,” Bash raps, “Migo so Triple D / I’m in Dallas more than CeeDee Lamb.” The line is playful but may draw reactions from Dallas Cowboys fans after the team’s recent struggles.

Tickets for the Dallas finale start at $28. Special guests include SSG Splurge, Tommy 2, DJ Bubba, and more.
