Swedish hard rock band Nestor has released a new single, “In The Name Of Rock’n’Roll”, bringing a wave of 80s nostalgia just in time for the summer. The standalone track is accompanied by an official music video, filmed on location in South Africa. Featuring melodic AOR influences and classic rock elements, the song blends a feel-good vibe with a touch of bittersweet emotion, capturing the spirit of rock’s golden era.
The release follows the band’s successful 2024 album Teenage Rebel, which received critical acclaim and made its debut on several music charts. Known for their high-energy live performances, Nestor has previously performed alongside legendary acts such as KISS, Europe, Def Leppard, and Alice Cooper. They’ve also headlined international tours and appeared at major summer festivals.
This summer, Nestor will return to the iconic Wacken Open Air festival and join Europe for two special shows in Sweden. In addition, tickets are now available for their upcoming “In The Name Of Rock’n’Roll” tour in Germany, set to take place this autumn.
Fans can watch the new music video and get ready for more summer rock anthems from Nestor.
