Don Toliver is revisiting his Love Sick era with the release of a new music video for “NO POLE.” The track, which is the first single from the deluxe edition of Love Sick released in February 2023, has gained significant streaming attention recently, even though it’s been over two years since its original debut.
Following the success of his recent HARDSTONE PSYCHO album and the release of the “TORE UP” video last week, Toliver is capitalizing on the renewed popularity of “NO POLE.” The official music video brings a cinematic extension to the Love Sick visual narrative.
The video begins with Toliver and his driver pulling into an empty parking lot, where their sports car runs out of gas. While Toliver heads into a nearby convenience store, his driver notices a woman dancing on a lamppost, using it as a stripper pole. Captivated, the driver becomes mesmerized.
Things take a strange turn when the driver begins sinking into the concrete, followed by the car. Toliver returns to the parking lot to find it eerily empty, with no trace of his driver or car.
