Reggae artist Keznamdi is set to release his highly anticipated second album, Blood and Fyah, in late spring or early summer 2025. The album promises to further elevate the growing momentum of Caribbean music, a movement reignited by the returns of reggae and dancehall icons like Buju Banton and Vybz Kartel.
On Blood and Fyah, Keznamdi blends traditional reggae with a diverse range of influences, including dancehall, Afrobeats, R&B, and hip-hop, continuing his exploration of contemporary reggae’s vast potential. The album is deeply inspired by Keznamdi’s connection to Africa, particularly Ghana, a country that has played a pivotal role in shaping both his music and personal journey.
The first taste of the album comes with the single “Time,” a heartfelt track that reflects the themes of the project, accompanied by a cinematic music video filmed in Ghana. With notable collaborations from Masicka and Mavado, Keznamdi’s Blood and Fyah is poised to be a defining release in the global music landscape.
