Tanaw Collective, the newly formed supergroup of Filipino rock icons, has unveiled their debut single, a heartfelt cover of Fleetwood Mac’s timeless 1975 hit “Landslide.” The release comes ahead of their highly anticipated repeat concert on February 9, 2025.
The minimalist, poignant rendition of the song symbolizes the group’s shared experience of embracing change and new beginnings, both personally and professionally. Members Acel Bisa, Aia de Leon, Barbie Almalbis, Hannah Romawac, Kitchie Nadal, and Lougee Basabas have all been moved by the song’s themes of love, life, and the passing of time.
Barbie Almalbis, reflecting on the song’s personal significance, said, “Landslide is a song we all know and love. The first version I heard was the Smashing Pumpkins’ cover, and I immediately connected with it. As we’ve grown older, the song’s meaning has only deepened for us.”
Fans can hear the emotional new arrangement live at the “Tanaw: The Repeat” concert on February 9, 2025, at the Newport Performing Arts Theater in Pasay City.
