Rapsody and Erykah Badu took home the Grammy for Best Melodic Rap Performance for their collaboration on “3:AM” at the 2025 Grammy Awards. This win marks Rapsody’s first-ever Grammy, while Badu celebrates her first in two decades.
The duo triumphed over formidable competition, including Beyoncé, Linda Martell, Shaboozey, Future, Metro Boomin, The Weeknd, Jordan Adetunji, and Latto.
Rapsody, who earned her first Grammy nominations since 2018, also received recognition for her Best Rap Song nomination with Hit-Boy for “Asteroids.” Meanwhile, Badu adds this Grammy to her collection of five, with her most recent win coming for “Love of My Life (An Ode to Hip Hop)” in 2002.
Their win denied Beyoncé and Future another Grammy in the category, after they took home the award in 2023 and 2021, respectively. Last year, the honor went to Lil Durk and J. Cole for “All My Life.”
