BTS’s Jimin has reassured fans that the group is dedicated to reuniting for future performances. In a heartfelt message posted on Weverse, Jimin expressed his determination for the band’s return to the stage.
“We are still committed to showing everyone who’s been waiting for us the best performance on stage,” Jimin wrote, acknowledging the time that has passed since the group last performed together. “It’s been quite some time since we’ve all performed together, and been devoted to working on the stage and music, which makes me a little afraid,” he admitted. “We’ll try. We will return all right.”
Jimin and fellow BTS member Jungkook began their mandatory military service in December 2023, with both expected to complete their service in June. Reflecting on their time apart, Jimin shared, “We’ve seen two new years since enlisting. It’s been about one year and two months, but it seems that the time here flows differently. It’s not easy, but we’re learning a lot, and we can’t wait to share all our stories with you in the future.”
As Jimin and Jungkook continue their service, they’ve been discussing the future of BTS, with Jimin revealing that their conversations have focused on their return and how they will present themselves.
In the meantime, Jimin’s solo track “Who” remains a hit, holding steady on the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart for an impressive 26 weeks.
