Australian indie pop music artist Gordi has unveiled a deeply emotional and healing new single, “Alien Cowboy,” in which she imagines a utopia for the queer community. The song explores the idea of a space where queer individuals can feel fully accepted and free to express themselves.
Gordi shared that she was inspired by the thought of creating an ideal world where acceptance is universal for queer people. This single follows her collaboration with Irish artist SOAK on last November’s Lunch At Dune EP. “Alien Cowboy” draws parallels to projects like Pollyhill and Samara Alofa’s Aquaries EP, which also create imagined worlds centered on queer safety and expression.
