Blake Shelton will host Opry 100: A Live Celebration, a special broadcast honoring the Grand Ole Opry’s 100th anniversary, on Wednesday, March 19, from 8 to 11 p.m. ET. The event will be simulcast on NBC and Peacock.
The three-hour live celebration will feature a lineup of country music legends, including Opry members Ashley McBryde, Brad Paisley, Carrie Underwood, Clint Black, Dierks Bentley, Garth Brooks, Luke Combs, Reba McEntire, Vince Gill, and many more. Also joining the celebration will be fan favorites such as Eric Church, Jelly Roll, The War and Treaty, and a special appearance by Randy Travis.
“Becoming a member of the Opry is a highlight of my life and career, and 15 years later I still get that same feeling of reverence and excitement every time I walk out on that stage,” Shelton shared. “The Grand Ole Opry has been connecting the country music family for 100 years, and I’m so proud to be part of this historic celebration.”
Since its debut in 1925, the Grand Ole Opry has played a pivotal role in shaping country music, offering a stage for iconic artists, up-and-coming stars, and entertainers from all genres. Opry 100: A Live Celebration will feature unforgettable collaborations, iconic Opry moments, and exclusive content that celebrates the Opry’s enduring legacy.
The special will be filmed at the Grand Ole Opry House and the historic Ryman Auditorium, known as the Mother Church of Country Music, where the Opry called home for many years.
Tickets for the event will go on sale Friday, January 31, at 10 a.m. CT, with an exclusive pre-sale for Opry subscribers beginning Thursday, January 30, at 10 a.m. CT.
The telecast will be executive produced by Emmy Award winners Baz Halpin, Mark Bracco, Linda Gierahn, R.A. Clark, and Steve Buchanan of Silent House Productions.
