The Scorpions have postponed their highly anticipated Las Vegas residency, originally scheduled for February, as drummer Mikkey Dee continues to recover from a recent health scare. The band announced the delay on Friday via social media, revealing that the residency will now take place in August 2025.
“We regret to inform you that due to Mikkey Dee’s ongoing recovery from his recent hospitalization, we have made the decision to postpone our Coming Home to Las Vegas residency to August 2025,” the statement read. “The health and well-being of our brother is of the utmost importance.”
The announcement comes just a week after Dee addressed rumors circulating online about his departure from the band. In a post on Instagram, he clarified, “NO, I AM NOT LEAVING SCORPIONS! I am back home recovering from sepsis and doing good progress! Never mind these bastards making up fake stories. If it’s not on my official pages, don’t trust a word! / Mikkey!”
