Ocala will once again host the high-energy Rock The Country: A Festival For We The People on May 9-10, 2025, as part of its nationwide road trip festival. The two-day event, now in its second year, aims to bring world-class music to smaller and mid-sized towns across the United States, with Ocala marking the fourth stop on the tour.

Headlining the 2025 edition are rock icons Kid Rock and Nickelback, who are set to bring their signature sounds to the stage. The impressive lineup for the Ocala stop also includes country legends such as Hank Williams Jr., Tracey Lawrence, Jo Dee Messina, and Diamond Rio, along with rising stars like Gavin Adcock and Logan Crosby. Other notable performers include Mark Chesnutt, Sammy Kershaw, Little Texas, Afroman, Ying Yang Twins, Hudson Westbrook, and DJ Silver.

The festival will take place at the Florida Horse Park, located just south of Ocala at 11008 S. Highway 475. Last year’s event attracted over 30,000 fans, with nearly 25,000 attendees traveling from outside Marion County, generating $17.7 million in local economic output and $5.2 million in earnings for local workers, according to a County press release.

Kid Rock, who will headline the festival, described it as more than just a music event. “Rock The Country isn’t just a music festival, it’s a movement,” he said. “It’s a place for hard-working, God-fearing patriots to come together and celebrate freedom, music, and the party of the year.”

Nickelback’s Michael Kroeger expressed excitement for the festival’s route, especially its stops in towns they’ve never played before. “There’s something special about connecting with fans in these communities, and we’re ready to bring our best and truly rock the country,” he said.

General admission tickets for both days start at $139.99, with single-day passes available for $89.99. Hotel and group packages are also offered.
