Kelly Clarkson Suffered Embarrassing Wardrobe Failure in Since U Been Gone Video

Kelly Clarkson has ripped her pants off while going commando for her music video for “Since U Been Gone.

The 41-year-old singer suffered an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction while filming the video for her 2010 single, joking that she flashed “a lot of moon” at the drummer.

In an outtake from Tuesday’s (31Oct23) episode of The Kelly Clarkson Show, she said: “This happened to me on a music video.

“The director was like, ‘Can you get down? I was in really tight leather pants in the ‘Since U Been Gone’ video and he was like, ‘Go down and come back up,’ and I was like, ‘OK, cool.

“And I went down and I was like, ‘Whoop! And I was commando.”

Her guest, Kyle Richards, jokingly asked if the embarrassing moment had been “caught on tape” – worried about her own mishap while dressed in leather as a black cat for the Halloween special.

Kelly laughed: “The drummer, I was like, ‘Oh s***, that’s a lot of moon, man. I’m sorry.’ ”

Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle sparked the memory by commenting on how “tight” her bodysuit was on the talk show.

She quipped: “I basically feel like I have a big Spanx on from my ankle to my neck.

“And I haven’t sat in it until I got here. So if you hear a loud noise… [it ripped]. I will cover myself with a pillow.”

Meanwhile, Kelly recently revealed that she accidentally snubbed Mariah Carey when the pop icon appeared on “The Voice” as an advisor in 2018.

Having regretted her “stupid” gaffe ever since, Kelly is hoping she’ll get a second chance at a potential collaboration.

Speaking on The Tonight Show, Kelly said: “She knows I adore her because I’ve met her several times and she’s probably got me on some security list to keep me away.

The ‘Stronger’ hitmaker recalled how they complimented each other’s songwriting skills. But when Mariah suggested they write something together, Kelly accidentally turned her down.
