The co-headlining tour of Tinashe and Shygirl has been canceled.
The ‘Heaven’ collaborators were due to kick off the U.S. tour next week. However, it has now been called off so that Shygirl can undergo surgery for an “ongoing respiratory condition”.
The 30-year-old wrote on Instagram: “I am devastated to share that due to an ongoing respiratory condition, I have been forced to make the difficult decision to cancel my performances on the upcoming US tour on the advice of my doctor that I can no longer delay surgery.
“My thoughts also go out to Tinashe and Uniiqu3 as we were all so looking forward to this tour together.
“I am truly heartbroken by this situation and hope to see you all again as soon as I am able. Love, Shygirl.”
However, Tinashe, 30, has revealed that she is working on a tour of her own and will be announcing the details in the next few weeks.
Writing on X (previously Twitter), she: “BB/ANG3L TOUR LOADING
“Unfortunately due to a medical condition @0800shygirl will not be able to perform on our tour and we have been forced to make the difficult decision to cancel. I am beyond devastated that I will not be able to bring my brand new show to my fans next weekend… but THE SHOW MUST GO ON!
“I have been working tirelessly with my team to put together my own tour, which will be announced in the coming weeks. This new show is absolutely incredible and I can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working so hard on.
“I love you all promise to see you soon…”
