Kip Moore is set to make 2025 a year of exciting new ventures, from launching two tours to releasing his sixth studio album, Solitary Tracks, out on February 28. The singer-songwriter has also signed with Virgin Music Group, marking a fresh chapter in his career.
Ahead of the album’s release, Moore is spending his annual retreat in Maui, a destination he has cherished since 2014 for both relaxation and surf. “I’ll come out here to surf for a month or so and relax,” Moore shares with Billboard during a phone interview.
Breaking into the mainstream over a decade ago with his debut hit, “Something ‘Bout a Truck,” which topped Billboard’s Country Airplay chart, Moore has since carved out a unique space in the country music landscape. With hits like “More Girls Like You” and “Last Shot,” he’s consistently reached the top of the charts, all while evolving his sound to embrace a grittier, heartland rock influence. As Moore prepares to release his new album, he remains focused on one simple truth: “People just want good music.”
