Akon’s hit single Right Now (Na Na Na) has officially surpassed one billion views on YouTube, marking a major milestone for the Senegalese-American artist. The track, from his 2008 album Freedom, is now his fourth song to reach the billion-view mark on the platform, following Lonely (2004), Smack That (2006, featuring Eminem), and Play Hard (2011, with David Guetta and Ne-Yo).
With Right Now (Na Na Na) joining the ranks of his other viral successes, Akon’s 2007 hit Don’t Matter is now nearing the billion-view milestone as well, with over 700 million views to date.
