NouerA, a dynamic seven-member boy band, is set to lead a new era in K-pop with their unique blend of talent and international diversity. Formed through KBS2’s global audition program MAKEMATE1 (MA1), the group consists of Korean members Gihyeon, Junpyo, Hyunjun, and Yuseop, along with Chinese members Lin and Fan, and Japanese member Miraku.
The name NouerA merges the French word “nouer” (meaning “to connect”) with “era,” symbolizing the group’s vision to bridge generations of K-pop and usher in a fresh musical era.
The band officially marked their debut with the release of their first mini-album, Chapter: New is Now, during a media showcase held at Blue Square Mastercard Hall in Seoul’s Yongsan District on Wednesday.
Miraku expressed his excitement and nerves, stating, “It’s surreal to be on stage for our debut showcase. This is such a huge goal for me, and I’m extremely nervous. But I’ll cherish this moment for the rest of my life.”
