K-pop group XG has confirmed that the grand finale of their “The First Howl” world tour will take place at the iconic Tokyo Dome on May 14, 2025. This announcement was made during their Feb. 23 and 24 concerts in Tokyo, marking a monumental moment for the all-Japanese girl group.
The “First Howl” tour, which began in May 2024, is XG’s debut world tour, taking the group to 33 cities across 18 countries, including performances in South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, the US, the UK, and more. By the end of the tour, they will have performed in front of approximately 200,000 fans.
The Tokyo Dome, which can accommodate 50,000 spectators, is a prestigious venue in Japan’s music scene, and XG’s performance there solidifies their growing influence in the industry.
Additionally, the group, known for singing primarily in English, will extend their tour due to high demand, with extra shows in Japan, China, Brazil, and Mexico. Before concluding their tour, XG will perform at Coachella in April.
Having debuted in 2022, XG’s second mini album “AWE” marked a breakthrough for the group, securing a spot on the Billboard 200 chart.
