BANKS is ready to release her highly anticipated fifth album, Off With Her Head, on February 28, and she describes it as the most joyful project she’s ever created. The California-born, Seattle-based artist reflected on the new album’s upbeat vibe and the process of collaborating with Doechii.
This album marks her first since Serpentina in 2022, which was praised as an “innovative and resilient reintroduction” to her sound. BANKS also reminisced about the significance of her recent London show at KOKO, where the performance felt like a celebration of both the new album and the 10th anniversary of her debut, Goddess.
