The Govan Music Festival is set to return next month for its fourth annual edition, marking its first year since the opening of the Govan-Partick footbridge, which has improved access to the city. Organizers are optimistic that the new bridge will boost attendance, making the festival even more accessible to audiences.
Scheduled for March 26-29, 2025, the festival will showcase a wide range of events, with a focus on cultural regeneration. The programme includes diverse performances, from world music and Flamenco dancing to a special hip-hop event aimed at the recovery community. The festival will kick off with a free Govan Schools Concert at the Fairfield Club, providing a vibrant start to the four-day celebration.
Supported by the National Lottery through Creative Scotland, this year’s Govan Music Festival offers tickets ranging from free to £15.
