Sony Music Nashville has announced the signing of country music artist Kat Luna, who is embarking on a new solo career after parting ways with Kat & Alex in July 2023.
Luna expressed her excitement about the new chapter, saying, “I’m so excited and grateful to start my journey as a solo artist with Sony Music Nashville. I’m thankful for them believing in me and my music.”
A first-generation Cuban American from Miami, Luna grew up singing in church before pursuing music professionally. Her journey into the spotlight began at age 19 when she appeared on La Voz and later competed as a solo artist on American Idol. After the show, she made the move to Nashville, where she is now preparing to release new music, produced by Nathan Chapman (known for his work with Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, and Lady A) later this year.
