Pioneering British punk band Conflict is set to release their first new album in two decades, titled This Much Remains. Slated for release on April 25th, the album marks a triumphant return for the politically charged group that helped redefine punk in the 1980s.
Formed in 1981 in Eltham, London, Conflict was the brainchild of frontman Colin Jerwood, who drew inspiration from early encounters with the Sex Pistols’ Spunk bootleg and his experience touring with The Clash. The band soon forged a friendship with Crass, and together, they crafted a punk sound that was rawer, angrier, and more confrontational than anything that had come before.
With This Much Remains, Conflict is poised to reignite the fire that made them one of the most influential bands in punk history.
