Jon Pardi has released “Love the Lights Out,” the latest track from his highly anticipated upcoming album. Co-written by Pardi, the song captures the passionate chemistry between a couple, with lyrics that paint a vivid picture of an unforgettable night together.
The chorus features the steamy lines: “Let’s love the lights out / Knock some things off the wall / Burn the night down, down / Till that black dress falls…” Pardi describes the track as an ode to taking time to appreciate a good thing, saying, “Sometimes, you can’t get your boots off fast enough. But, this isn’t about one of those nights. This one is for appreciating when you’ve got something good and can take your time.”
“Love the Lights Out” offers a sneak peek into Pardi’s forthcoming fifth album, Honkytonk Hollywood, set to release on April 11. The album’s lead single, “Friday Night Heartbreaker,” is already climbing the country charts and nearing the top 30.
Pardi’s Honkytonk Hollywood Tour will kick off on April 25 in Lubbock, Texas.
