Muscadine Bloodline is truly making 2024 their breakout year. The Alabama duo is riding high on the success of their debut radio single, “10-90,” and a string of sold-out shows on their ongoing headline tour. Soon, they’ll be joining Lainey Wilson as part of her Whirlwind World Tour, further cementing their rising status in the country music scene.
But the excitement doesn’t stop there. The pair has just announced their fifth studio album, …And What Was Left Behind, set to be released on April 11. This new project serves as a companion to their 2024 album The Coastal Plain and features 11 tracks that delve deeper into the Southern narratives and coastal Alabama influences that have become Muscadine Bloodline’s signature sound.
In addition to the album announcement, the duo has unveiled a poignant new track, “Chickasaw Church of Christ,” a hauntingly beautiful ballad just in time for Valentine’s Day. The song joins previously released singles like “The White Horse vs. The High Horse” and the Josh Meloy-assisted “Ain’t For Sale.”
Fans can expect the release of …And What Was Left Behind to come on the heels of their The Coastal Plain Tour, just ahead of select shows with fellow Alabamians The Red Clay Strays in their home state. With a packed schedule and new music on the way, Muscadine Bloodline’s momentum shows no signs of slowing down.
