Rising rap music star Uche is back with his latest single, “Here I Go,” a bold track that explores the pressures of ambition and inner-city life through gritty, spacey synths and hard-hitting 808s. Produced by Skip No Steps, the song captures Uche’s raw energy as he confronts the complexities of his environment. The track’s moody, nocturnal music video amplifies the feeling of temptation and the weight of constant attention, offering a visual representation of Uche’s pursuit of success.
“I wanted to bring this sense of orchestrated chaos, this place I’ve been in, to light,” Uche explains. “I feel the need now more than ever to be reckless and daring, so Here I Go.”
The single follows the success of his previous track, “AWAKE,” which earned significant acclaim. It also marks the latest release from Uche’s two-part album HOW TO DIE / HOW TO LIVE. The first installment, HOW TO DIE, reflects the artist’s journey through frustration and inner turmoil, signaling personal growth and transformation. “In order to truly live, one may have to kill parts of their current self,” Uche states, hinting at the more vibrant, self-assured sound of the upcoming HOW TO LIVE release.
