Following his historic performance of the national anthem at Super Bowl LIX, Jon Batiste has unveiled plans for a new concert series, the Maestro Tour. The intimate, limited-run tour will offer fans a chance to experience Batiste’s artistry in a personal setting, blending classical music with his own catalog, Black American musical traditions, pop influences, and more.
The tour will kick off at the Citizens Opera House in Boston and will make stops at iconic venues, including the Metropolitan Opera House in New York City for two special shows, the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, and Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco. The tour will conclude at Los Angeles’ Walt Disney Concert Hall on May 19.
Tickets for the Maestro Tour will be available through artist presales on February 12 at 12 p.m. local time, with general presales starting the following day at 10 a.m. local time. The general public on-sale begins February 14 at 10 a.m. local time.
Batiste, a multi-Grammy Award winner, has described the upcoming tour as an opportunity for fans to experience his music “as if they were in my living room with me — in real time.” He added, “These performances are deeply personal, intimate, and spontaneous, where every wave of energy is felt and shared. I’m excited to give fans a unique, immersive experience, one show at a time.”
Batiste reflected on his Super Bowl performance and discussed his vision for the future of music. “We’re inheritors of this great cultural inheritance,” he said. “Our work now is to build on these foundational pillars and continue the journey.”
