New York City-based heavy metal band Sanhedrin has announced the release of their highly anticipated new album, Heat Lightning, set for release in March 2025 via Metal Blade Records. This marks the band’s follow-up to their 2022 album Lights On.
Departing from the production style of their previous three albums, which were recorded and mixed by Colin Marston, Sanhedrin chose to bring a fresh perspective to Heat Lightning. The band recorded the new album at the Utopia Bearsville studio in Woodstock, New York, with Matt Brown (Life of Agony, A Pale Horse Named Death) and Jerry Farley (Sick of It All, Madball) taking the reins as co-producers.
Fans can expect a new sonic direction as the band embraces this change in both environment and production team.
