Drake is warming up his vocal cords for his upcoming Australian tour, treating fans to an unexpected karaoke performance at a Melbourne bar this week.
In a video shared on his Instagram, the rapper was seen performing his 2011 hit “Trust Issues,” much to the crowd’s excitement, as they enthusiastically sang along. One fan jokingly commented, “IMAGINE performing after this at karaoke.”
Drake’s 16-date Australian tour, dubbed the Anita Max Win Tour after his gambling alter ego, kicks off on February 4 in Perth. He will then make stops in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane, before wrapping up in Auckland, New Zealand on March 16.
Ahead of the tour, Drake debuted a custom-made pendant of his alter ego, Anita Max Win, designed by celebrity jeweler Jason of Beverly Hills. The pendant is crafted from 3 kilos of gold and over 250 carats of diamonds. Jason explained, “Just as the cartoon holds more meaning than meets the eye, so does the pendant,” adding that a hidden door inside the piece reveals the skyline of Toronto, while the back lists the dates of his Australian tour.
Drake continues to dominate the streaming charts, recently surpassing Kendrick Lamar to become the first rapper to hit one billion streams on Spotify in 2025, achieving the milestone in 27 days, just ahead of Kendrick’s 29 days. However, Kendrick still leads the race for the most monthly listeners on Spotify for January with 81 million, while Drake follows closely behind with 73 million.
