British metalcore band Bury Tomorrow have premiered “Let Go,” the third single from their highly anticipated new album, Will You Haunt Me, With That Same Patience, set for release on May 16. The track provides fans with a glimpse into the band’s evolving sound ahead of the full album drop.
Frontman Dani Winter-Bates reflects on the song’s themes, saying, “To be dishonest with yourself leads to decisions based in fear and can lead to regret, while to be true to yourself can cost some of the things you hold closest.”
Keyboardist and vocalist Tom Pendergast expands on the message, noting, “There is a sense throughout the song that we can often give all of our energy to a toxic situation and need to recognize when to cut ties to grow. ‘Let Go’ is about how that can shape you, change you and define your choices and your path through life. There is a cost to every choice, and there are some harder to let go of than others.”
With powerful lyrics and an intense sound, “Let Go” continues Bury Tomorrow’s tradition of tackling complex emotional struggles with their signature metalcore style.
