Taylor Swift and Morgan Wallen are leading the pack with 10 nominations each for the 2025 iHeart Radio Music Awards. Swift, the 35-year-old pop icon, will also be honored with a special award—Tour of the Century—for her groundbreaking ‘Eras Tour.’ Wallen, 31, has earned nods for Artist of the Year, Best Collaboration for “I Had Some Help” featuring Post Malone, and Country Artist of the Year.
In a close second, Sabrina Carpenter, Post Malone, and Kendrick Lamar each earned nine nominations. The iHeart Radio Music Awards will also recognize key artists for their cultural contributions. Lady Gaga is set to receive the prestigious iHeart Radio Innovator Award, celebrating her transformative impact on both music and culture. The statement from iHeart Radio described her as “the true definition of a modern-day artist innovator.”
Mariah Carey will be honored with the iHeart Radio Icon Award in recognition of her record-breaking career, cementing her place as the best-selling female artist of all time, particularly known for hits like “All I Want For Christmas Is You.”
This year’s awards will also introduce five fan-voted categories, including Favourite Surprise Guest, Favourite Broadway Debut, Favourite Track, Favourite Tour Tradition, and Favourite K-pop Dance Challenge.
The ceremony, set for March 17, 2025, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, will pay tribute to the city following the devastating wildfires earlier in the month. iHeart Radio has confirmed plans to donate to wildfire relief efforts through FireAidLA.com.
iHeart Media executives John Sykes and Tom Poleman emphasized that this year’s show will “shine a light on the devastating tragedy” while supporting the Los Angeles community.
